Following a quality audit by HSB Inspection Quality, Severn Unival has won quality approval for the repair of safety relief valves owned by ICI Eutech and Zeneca.

Following a quality audit by HSB Inspection Quality Ltd, Severn Unival Ltd has won quality approval for the repair of safety relief valves owned by ICI Eutech and Zeneca.

The quality audit was performed at Severn Unival's safety valve testing station at Northchurch in Cheshire, to determine conformance to Zeneca procedure EI.INS.25.04 and ICI Eutech procedure EUT.212.

The quality approval certificate covers all makes and sizes of safety relief valves, for which a technical library will be compiled as a central reference point in the future.

Receipt of this quality approval is another landmark in the development of the company's innovative Valve Management Support Service.

Known as VMS, this service has been carefully developed in consultation with customers to meet evolving market requirements, particularly the trend towards simplified procurement, increased plant utilisation, low maintenance costs, reduced shutdown durations and an increased emphasis on single sourcing.
