SASPG International will provide air separation plants and equipment to the international gas industry.
SASPG International has been launched as a joint venture between the Sichuan Air Separation Plant Group (SASPG) in China and Severn Flowtech in the UK.
The new company will develop and market the skills of both partner companies to bring the next generation of air separation plants and equipment to the international gas industry.
SASPG and Severn Flowtech have been working together since 2003 to promote the benefits of SASPG's technologies.
This work has progressed to the point where they are now able to bring jointly developed products to the marketplace.
The new company's strategy is to deliver advanced cryogenic products that offer improved options for the burgeoning energy sector, particularly in the areas of industrial gas liquefaction, transportation and storage.
SASPG's air separation and cryogenic equipment manufacturing capabilities are promoted through Severn Flowtech's market presence, experience and technical expertise.
The first joint products, a range of Lloyds Register, DNV and BV-approved stainless steel LNG globe control and isolating valves, were introduced in 2005.
Subsequently a range of stainless steel nonreturn valves and strainers have been developed, confirming the company's ability to meet customers' exact requirements.
SASPG International is currently active in various industrial gas and LNG projects in Europe, the USA, the Middle East and Asia.
SASPG International's UK offices are situated in Gloucester and Yorkshire.
