Global role for Kozak

Bruce F Kozak has been appointed Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Spirex Corp.

Bruce F Kozak has been appointed Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Spirex Corp.

In his new position, Kozak will be responsible for all global product sales and marketing functions, customer support services and new market development.

Mark R Colella, who has filled the role of Vice President of Sales and Technology, will focus his efforts on new product and technical development as the Vice President of Technology, according to Spirex President, Paul T Colby.

Prior to joining Spirex, Kozak spent the past two years in financial services with Morgan Stanley focusing on the investment needs of small businesses and individual investors.

Prior to this, Kozak held the position of President of Cannon USA in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, where he was responsible for all US-based polyurethane operations.

In addition, he spent over 20 years with Milacron, where he held numerous positions including Vice President of Global Marketing, Vice President and General Manager of the Plastics Injection Machinery Business, General Manager of Ferromatik Milacron USA and Vice President and General Manager of Integrated Processing Systems Business.

Kozak is a graduate of Ohio University and has a Bachelors degree in industrial technology.

In 1999 he was chosen by OU as Outstanding Industrial Technologist (OIT), an award presented by the National Association of Industrial Technology (NAIT).

In 1995, Kozak earned his MBA at Xavier University with a focus on international marketing.

He is a past member and Philadelphia Section President of the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) and has served on several committees within the Machinery Division of Society of Plastics Industry (SPI) and the National Plastics Exposition (NPE).

In commenting on his recent appointment, Kozak said: " I'm extremely excited about the opportunity to join the Spirex team which over the years has proven its commitment to providing advanced technology optimal solutions to their customers and the plastics processing industry".
