The course will provide an introduction to modern theories of fatigue and their practical application.

Tutorial sessions and worked examples will be used to reinforce the course material.

There will be a strong emphasis on what is possible, and pitfalls to avoid.

The course sessions will be presented using PowerPoint and interaction/discussion is encouraged.A professional volume of course notes forms a self-contained reference book.

The course will be held between the 2nd and 5th February 2004.
