The 2nd fe-safe User Group Meeting will take place on Wednesday 20th September 2006.

Safe Technology will hold its 2nd fe-safe User Group Meeting on Wednesday 20th September 2006.

The event will be hosted once again by Dana Corporation at the Dana Technical Resource Park, Ottawa Lake, Michigan, USA.

Building on the success of last year's UGM, Safe Technology has scheduled a highly technical programme of papers from industry specialists, fe-safe users and key Safe Technology staff.

This year's programme will cover a wider range of industries and fatigue related concerns with the aim of sharing and increasing knowledge of fatigue analysis and understanding of fe-safe, its capabilities and its applications.

This year's keynote speech from Professor Steve Tipton, Professor of Mechanical Engineering, University of Tulsa is "The secret to successful fatigue life prediction".

Industry and user papers come from PE Schaeffler Group, Medtronic, Cummins, Serco Assurance and Belcan Engineering Group.

Presentations from Safe Technology will include an overview of the latest release, fe-safe 5.2, and a closer look at Verity, the revolutionary new mesh-insensitive structural stress method for fatigue evaluation of welded structures, now commercially available exclusively in fe-safe.
