Temperature fatigue expert joins technical team

High-temperature fatigue specialist, Dr Radwan Hazime, has joined Safe Technology's technical team.

High-temperature fatigue specialist, Dr Radwan Hazime, has joined Safe Technology's technical team.

Dr Radwan Hazime completed his PhD at Northeastern University in high-temperature deformation and fracture, and was most recently employed with Ford Powertrain for eight years.

As an Analytical Powertrain Technical Expert at Ford, Dr Hazime has extensive experience in thermo-mechanical fatigue, CAE durability method development and FE modeling.

He won several awards during his time at Ford and has published a number of papers as well as being a regular presenter at SAE and other international conferences.

He is also a certified 6-sigma black belt specialising in DFSS and analytical reliability and robustness.

His role as DFSS black belt included the development, deployment, and teaching of state of the art tools used for robust design and multi-objective optimisation.

He has been recognised by the International Quality and Productivity Center for his work in this area.

Dr Hazime has also taught college level engineering courses and conducted research in the Engineering Departments at Northeastern University and The University of Arizona.

Dr Hazime will be based at Safe Technology's Michigan office.

As Manager, Technical Operations USA, Dr Hazime will work with Safe Technology's experienced engineering and software team to offer fatigue knowledge, technical support and consultancy services.
