Sensor Consultants' LAP Servolaser is an adjustable positioning system which can connect to a PC via a serial (RS232/RS485) link or to a PLC via a parallel interface.

The Servolaser can be fitted with either one laser which will move along the complete range, or two lasers, generating for example 2 parallel laser lines.

The zero position is central and the two lasers move symmetrically from this center point.

The minimum distance between the 2 lines is 63.5mm and the maximum, depending on the model chosen, is 1600mm.

It is also possible to mount two further fixed lasers to the Servolaser should this be required.

Models available are: SLX-X-0400 - 400mm long; SLX-X-0600 - 600mm long; SLX-X-1200 -1200mm long; and SLX-X-1600 -1600mm long.

Speed of travel is 100mm/sec and positional accuracy is +/- 0.3mm at 1 mtr distance.

Applications include Saw mills and rubber and textile industries etc.
