Recent EU law requiring that all plastic and rubber products used in food manufacturing plant must be blue in colour can be met by a range of pigmented silicone rubber seals and gaskets from Silicone Fabrication Services.
SFS is now producing blue solid silicone and silicone sponge products from FDA and WRC approved compounds.
These are offered with or without self-adhesive backing and also with metal loaded compounds for magnetic traceability.
Available for delivery on short lead times and with low tooling costs for both small and large volumes, the materials cover the temperature range -60 to +200C.
Some of them are autoclavable.
The type of finished products in this range includes extruded profiles, cords, strips, punched or fabricated gaskets, tubing and hose.
Uses encompass seals for doors, conveyor edges, packaging machinery, heat tunnels and baking trays as well as discharge hoses.
