Low-smoke/low-toxic silicone rubber extrusions and seals meeting UL94 VO (2mm) now available from Silicone Fabrications are ideal for mass transit applications and are essential for electronics industry companies exporting to the US.

These materials are self-extinguishing and do not give off harmful gas when ignited like other rubbers.

Suitable for a working temperature range of -60 to +250C, they meet London Underground and Eurotunnel specifications.

SFS can supply extruded profiles, cord, tube or strip in these compounds as well as finished seals and cut gaskets, in both low and high volumes.

Standard colours are cream or dark grey.

This specialist material maintains the standard benefits of silicone rubber including good chemical resistance, outstanding electrical properties and excellent resistance to atmospheric oxygen, ozone and water.
