SGS Data Management has developed the Recommendation Tracking System (RTS).
SGS Industrial Services began a large baseline implementation-on-inspection project with a client in 2004.
During the course of working the inspection project, SGS recognised the need for a system that would process the identified recommendations more efficiently and effectively.
The Recommendation Tracking System (RTS) was SGS's response.
RTS reduced the cost of processing the recommendations and prioritised, tracked and documented the findings and closure of the recommendations.
The increased awareness of the conditions and practices that can lead to failure as communicated by this system has more than paid for the inspection programme, by shifting them from reactive to proactive maintenance practices.
