SGS is offering pressure-equipment conformity services through its one-stop shop.
This will help its customers deal with the complex regulations and documents required for pressure equipment such as pressure vessels, tanks, boilers and pressurised systems.
SGS's pressure-equipment conformity services include: material approval; examination type approval; quality system approval; product inspection, test and certification; approval of joining personnel and procedures; and periodical inspections and audits.
SGS has the following pressure-equipment recognitions and accreditations: notified body for the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED 97/23/EC) for all modules; notified body for the European Transportable Pressure Equipment Directive (TPED); ASME authorised inspection agency; authorised inspection agency for DOSH Malaysia; authorised inspection agency for Indian Boiler (IBR); authorised inspection agency for MOM (Ministry of Manpower) Singapore; authorised inspection agency for Australia, New Zealand and South Africa; and accreditation according to EN ISO/IEC 17020 and 17025.
