Stonewater Control Systems is to provide its Field Instrument Management System (FIMS) solution to systems integrator Sanchez Industrial Design (SID).

The software will be integrated with the Aspectrics' EP-IR spectrometer system to allow SID to monitor gases, liquids and alarm remotely in real time.

The FIMS system will also monitor sound, is combined with an ultrasonic weather station and is adapted for the mobile environment with communications integrated with Cisco Mobile Access Router technology.

This provides highly secure wireless data communications from any location.

"We are pleased to provide Sanchez Industrial Design with a solution that will allow it to reliably and quickly monitor their processes and be notified immediately if conditions deviate from a preset norm", said Randolph Nogel, Stonewater's CEO.

"Also we anticipate Aspectrics will be the first of many analytical instrument manufacturers with a need for FIMS functionality and we are actively looking for other OEMs and integrators to distribute Stonewater's products".

Stonewater has developed a Field Instrument Management System (FIMS) for the analytical instrument industry to help companies monitor a network of field devices using data that is secure and reliable.

Currently the Stonewater application is being used by utility companies, government agencies and manufacturing companies to remotely monitor their various process applications using a platform that can be readily adapted to each customer's unique requirements for a powerful, flexible solution.
