Pair provide all-in gas solutions
Vacuum Technology and Sterling PCU have formed a strategic alliance to offer turnkey solutions for the HVAC, refrigeration and automotive production and test facilities.

"By aligning Sterling PCU's breadth of application experience with VTI's depth of technical knowledge, the strategic alliance offers customers a unique "single source" value proposition for our products and services", said Tom Hoge, President of PCU.
"Together, we are filling a market requirement for reviewing and providing solutions for the entire process, not just designing to individual applications that may not effectively serve the customer", said George Soloman, President and Founder of VTI.
The alliance offers engineered solutions for product filling, leak testing, gas and liquid recovery, run testing of components or complete systems, and material handling.
It also offers complete systems integration with plant communications systems for product and quality tracking purposes.
Both companies are exhibiting at the 2003 ASHRAE Convention in Chicago, 25th-29th January 2003.
Joint activities are planned for other shows throughout the year.
The alliance will be providing a series of training courses intended to address factors critical to the fluid/gas production environment.
According to Kevin Buxton, Director of Global Business Alliances, VTI, "PCU and VTI can reduce a customers ongoing cost of testing by providing helium and refrigerant recovery systems in parallel with helium and leak testing equipment".
