Ricoh Company, one of the world's leading suppliers of office automation equipment, has awarded Sarnatech BNL with "Class A" supplier status for the second consecutive year.

Ricoh Company, one of the world's leading suppliers of office automation equipment, has awarded Sarnatech BNL with "Class A" supplier status for the second consecutive year.

The award - achieved only by suppliers who deliver 100% on time with zero defects - was collected by Sarnatech BNL Sales Director, Stephen Lusty, at Ricoh's annual supplier conference which took place recently in France.

Sarnatech BNL has been working with Ricoh for many years supplying a variety of custom-designed parts including drive pulley, transfer roller and mirror guide assemblies for the company's photocopying machines.

The Sarnatech BNL product is used in the transfer system of the machine enabling the movement of paper through it.

"We have always had a very close working relationship with Ricoh and over the years have worked on many projects that have changed the way the Ricoh product has developed by replacing many metal parts with fully integrated plastic assemblies", explains Stephen Lusty.

"Ricoh know they can rely on Sarnatech BNL to provide cost down solutions on time and even prior to our first 'Class A' Supplier Award in 2002, the company singled us out at their Supplier Conferences as being an 'ideal' supplier".

The key messages that came out of this year's supplier conference included the importance of cost down solutions, environmental performance and vendor managed inventory systems - all important challenges for Sarnatech BNL to embrace over the coming months to ensure we retain this important supplier status with such an key customer.
