Sarnatech BNL has been named Plain Paper Copier Supplier of the Year by Ricoh UK Products at its 2004 European Supplier Congress.
Sarnatech BNL has been named Plain Paper Copier Supplier of the Year by Ricoh UK Products at its 2004 European Supplier Congress.
Sarnatech BNL has been working with Ricoh for many years, supplying a variety of fully integrated custom-designed bearing assemblies for the company's photocopying machines.
Lightweight, low-friction and cost-effective, the Sarnatech BNL products are used in the transfer system of the machine enabling the precise movement of paper through it.
The prestigious supplier of the year award is in addition to Sarnatech BNL's achievement of "Class A Supplier" status for the third consecutive year - an award achieved only by suppliers who deliver 100% on time with zero defects - and the fact that the company is always willing to go that extra mile to be flexible and understanding of its customers' needs.
"Ricoh is delighted to see Sarnatech BNL achieve 'Class A Supplier' status for the third consecutive year for their excellent quality and delivery performance", said Elaine Herwin, European Procurement Specialist at Ricoh.
"Having surpassed all other suppliers in the PPC category, Sarnatech BNL truly deserves the additional accolade of supplier of the year", Carol Garbett, Buyer, went on to say.
"Their willingness and co-operation to meet and exceed our needs, particularly with the implementation of a vendor managed inventory system this year and their on-going design support in Japan, makes them deserved winners".
Speaking about the company's achievement, Sarnatech BNL Projects Manager, John Nichols, said: "Working in such close partnership with Ricoh over the years has resulted in improvements to our own organisation and processes which has culminated in the receipt of this prestigious award".
"Everyone at Sarnatech BNL is immensely proud of this achievement, but we will not allow ourselves to become complacent".
