Plastic bearing specialist BNL (UK) has acquired established injection moulding company Cobb Slater.

North Yorkshire based designer and manufacturer of innovative plastic bearing solutions BNL (UK) has acquired Cobb Slater of the East Midlands, UK.

Cobb Slater is an established injection moulding company best known for its expertise in technical mouldings, electrical security products and plastic bearings.

This acquisition is part of BNL's global strategy to strengthen its product and service offerings to its customers by providing innovative thermoplastic bearing assemblies and specialty technical mouldings.

The addition of Cobb Slater will enhance the product range and services that can be offered to customers.

Dr Neil Partlett, Managing Director of BNL (UK), says that the acquisition forms part of the company's intention to continue the robust organic growth that BNL has experienced in the last few years.

"We want to accelerate our growth both organically and through acquisitions".

"The addition of the Cobb Slater portfolio to BNL's already extensive range of products and services will enable us to present an even wider selection of skills and processes to provide innovative solutions to our customers".
