BNL UK has acquired UK-based Cobb Slater, expanding its worldwide expertise in thermoplastic ball bearing assemblies and technical mouldings.

BNL UK is a designer and manufacturer of innovative plastic bearing solutions and maintains a subsidiary in the United States.

"This acquisition is part of BNL's global strategy to strengthen our product and service offerings to our customers by providing innovative thermoplastic bearing assemblies and specialty technical mouldings", said Terry Holmes, Vice President, BNL Global Sales.

"The addition of Cobb Slater enhances the product range and services that can be offered to customers particularly those in bath and shower-related markets", he said.

US-based customers currently account for approximately one-third of the company's total business.

The acquisition forms part of the company's intention to continue the robust double-digit organic growth that BNL has experienced in the last few years.

"We want to accelerate our growth both organically and through acquisitions", Holmes continued.

"The addition of the Cobb Slater portfolio to BNL's already extensive range of products and services gives us additional traction in key industries and allows us to expand our footprint and increase our production capacity", he said.
