Schmersal UK has introduced the AZM190, a new multi-position, slimline safety interlock switch specifically for use with profile safety guard construction.
Schmersal UK has introduced a new multi-position, slimline safety interlock switch specifically for use with profile safety guard construction The AZM190 is a solenoid locking safety interlock switch designed to prevent moveable machine safety guards from being opened whilst a dangerous condition exists
Its slimline thermoplastic housing makes it ideal for machine guard door installations using profile sections.
For easy installation and maximum versatility, the AZM190 features a rotational head that can be turned in four steps of 90deg to suit different actuator entry.
A front mounted auxiliary override mechanism is also ideally positioned for authorised access, and optional actuators are available for different machine guard doors.
The switch, which has a locking force of 1500N, is sealed to prevent the ingress of coarse particles on actuator entry.
