Schmersal (UK) has introduced a range of modular stacklights that meet the latest EN292-1 standard, with special internal prisms to ensure high light intensity and excellent visibility

Schmersal (UK), the specialist in man-machine safety systems, has introduced a range of modular stacklights that meet the latest EN292-1 standard, which states that machine operators have to be informed of risks that cannot be eliminated by design or safeguarding Modular ML50 stacklights warn operators of possible hazards and inform them of the current machine status, allowing problems to be recognised before they actually occur - reducing downtime and increasing productivity

Special internal prisms ensure high light intensity and excellent visibility, even in bright rooms.

There is a choice of six different module colours - e.g red for emergencies, yellow for critical conditions, etc - available with conventional filament lamps or long-life, energy-saving SMD light diodes for 24V and 230V.

The five stacklight modules can be configured in many combinations and the light source can be arranged to provide continuous, intermittent or flashing signals.

An integral horn with seven different sounds and an 85 dB (A) warning signal can be fitted to the top of the ML50 stack, to increase awareness of the signals.

IP54 and IP65 ratings and a rugged design make ML stacklights suitable for both internal and external use, even in the harshest industrial environments.

Three different methods of fixing are available including stand, foot and pipe mounting.
