The first of a series of free safety focus seminars offered by machine safety specialist Schmersal UK will be dedicated to machine door guarding.

The first of a series of free safety focus seminars offered by machine safety specialist Schmersal UK will be dedicated to machine door guarding.

The seminar will cover all aspects of solenoid door locking, including safety standards, typical applications, selection of appropriate handles, interlock switches, safety monitors and control modules, and fitting tips and wiring diagrams.

The series of seminars will be held on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at the company's Customer Service Centre in Malvern and will include lunch.

The machine door guarding seminars will be held on October 9th and 23rd.

Novembers' safety focus seminars will cover Fieldbus, with presentations on the latest in AS-I Safety at Work.

Dates are November 13th and 27th.

Book early to avoid disappointment.

Other topics will be announced in due course.

Alternatively, seminars can be arranged on-site for companies who employ large groups of engineers in the safety field.
