The ZHS range of accessories for two-hand control consoles is designed to ensure that operators' hands are kept clear of potentially hazardous areas while satisfying the requirements of EN574:1997.

Machine safety specialist Schmersal has introduced the ZHS range of accessories for two-hand control consoles, designed to ensure that operators' hands are kept clear of potentially hazardous areas while satisfying the EN574:1997 safety and ergonomic requirements for frequent use.

The comprehensive range offers operating panels, height adjustable stands, foot-pedal switches, relays and control and signalling devices.

Among the new and innovative products featured is a die-cast operating console with an ergonomic, fatigue-free design that allows the integration of up to eight control and signalling devices in the central area of the console, in addition to the emergency stop control device.

Also new is a height adjustable, mobile pedestal with a folded-panel design and mounting for single or double-pedal footswitches and/or buttons.

The ZHS range is ideal for setting-up and single-stroke operations close to hazardous areas, and for manual feed and withdrawal work in operations such as metal punching and presswork, and for operating machinery in chemical, and plastics and rubber processing facilities.
