Using its popular Radiolink plus range, Straightpoint has launched simple, low cost telemetry loadcell system to be used with cranes, hoists and on-vehicle lifting systems such as Hiabs.

The customer can choose from a range of loadcells from 100kg to 200t; this is then programmed to "talk" to the display which may be wall or cab mounted.

Once the load is on the loadcell a simple button press will send the data to a compact tally roll printer.

If preferred the system can connect to a data logger rather than a printer to enable data analysis at a later date.

Straightpoint Sales Director David Ayling says: "Our telemetry systems have proved to be very popular in mobile weighing applications".

"Because there are no cables to be damaged breakdown time and expenses are greatly reduced".

"By building a standard system it enables us to offer a high specification system at an attractive price".
