Expanded family of resettable fuses
Schurter has extended its PTC-Fuse product family a new range and extended ratings for existing devices.
Schurter has extended its PTC-Fuse product family a new range and extended ratings for existing devices The new PFMU series comes in the 1210 footprint size, and new ratings have been added to both the PFMD series (1812 footprint) and the PFME series (5.3 x 11.5mm)
These products offer fast tripping resettable circuit protection in a range of hold current ratings from 50mA to 2.6A.
The PFMU and PFMD devices find their application fields in PC-peripherals, modems, PDAs, line cards, phones, fax machines, printers, video equipement, gerneral electronics etc.
The PFME, which has a hold current rating of 1.9A, is ideally suited for battery cell protection due to its very low internal resistance, low trip temperature of 100C and the maximal interrupt current of 100A.
All SMD PTC-Fuses comes in surface mount packaging for automated assembly in quantities of 1500, 2000 or 3000 per reel. Request a free brochure from Schurter ...
