Power entry module takes switch onboard
The EC11 is the latest addition to Schurter's fast growing range of high-current power-entry modules.
The module's main advantage over its competitors is that the fuseholders are rated to IP65, making it ideal for applications in medical, industrial and test environments, where the fuseholders need to be protected against dust and jetting of water.
It also features shockproof PC2 fuseholders to guard against accidental shock when changing fuses.
The body of the 4707 inlet is made from UL94V0 thermoplastic, and the module can be screw mounted from the front or rear of a panel.
It is available with single or double fused options, and 6.3mm quick-fit terminals or solder tabs.
The inlet is designed to comply with EN 60320-1/C14, and is available in class I, class II on request.
The fuseholders meet IEC/EN 60127-6 and have a power acceptance at ambient air temperature Ta 23øC of 2x1.6W.
