Surface-mount fuse provides compact
protection
Schurter has expanded its range of surface mount fuses with its smallest device to date.
Schurter has expanded its range of surface mount fuses with its smallest device to date The thin-film USF 0603 fuse is only 1.6mm long, 0.8mm wide and 0.6mm high
It offers overcurrent protection with very fast acting characteristics over a rated current range from 500mA to 5A.
Breaking capacity is 50A/32V for the whole range.
The USF 0603 is recognised according to UL248-1.
An easily visible legend permits visual identification of the ampere rating.
The USF 0603 is suitable for ambient temperatures up to 90C and is ideal for applications in computer peripherals, PC-cards, disc drives, modems, personal digital assistants, fax machines, printers, digital cameras and mobile phones.
The USF 0603 comes in surface-mount packaging for automated assembly in quantities of 5000 and 15,000 pieces per reel, according to EIA-RS481 (equivalent IEC60286-3). Request a free brochure from Schurter ...
