A new CD-Rom, available free of charge, provides an initial introduction to Sira and will be helpful for those require calibration, testing and performance or management system certification
Sira Test and Certification has introduced a new CD-Rom, which is available free of charge.
The CD gives information about all the company's services and facilitates easy access to its web-site.
Designed to appeal to customers from many disciplines, the new interactive CD-Rom provides an initial introduction to Sira.
It will be helpful to companies who commission or require calibration, testing and performance or management system certification, as it provides an overview of Sira's conformity assessment services.
These include: * Conformity - calibration, instrument management and repair * Compliance - equipment for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, ATEX, environmental monitoring equipment, MCERTS, Safety related systems, CASS, performance testing * Certification - quality management systems, environmental management systems and health and safety management systems * Competence - training courses, certification of personal competency The CD provides customers, particularly those from the process, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, chemical, aerospace, environmental, mining and water industries with immediate access to Sira.
Training and staff competence also feature as a section on the CD and links enable the user to access online booking and course details via the Sira web-site.
The CD will run on any PC running Windows 3.1 or higher.
It offers an insight into conformity assessment for managers who are involved in plant management, testing, instrument maintenance etc.
