Datasheet sets out ATEX compliance procedures
Sira's new Safety Compliance Business has published a datasheet detailing the ATEX Directive 94/9/EC for non-electrical equipment in hazardous areas.
The new offering will be beneficial to both manufacturers and users of instrumentation, and consists of five specific services: Ex product certification; a full range of services to meet the new dangerous substances and explosive atmosphere regulations; quality module certification; training and technical sessions; and functional safety (to IEC61508).
Steve Lower, Business Director states: "Our goal for the next five years is to become the market leader internationally in safety compliance, blending together product certification, technical guidance and training in the fields of safety and functional safety.
