Sira's Safety Compliance business will launch its new training package on Stand 17 at HazardEx 2004.

Sira's Safety Compliance business will launch its new training package on Stand 17 at HazardEx 2004 Sira is an event partner of the HazardEx event to be held at the Britannia Royal Court Hotel, Keresley, Coventry on 18th and 19th February 2004

The new training package has been developed in association with HazardEx and Lloyd's Register to provide interesting and practical training courses tailored to meet the specific needs of different personnel involved in the acquisition, design, production and use of safety-related equipment.

Steve Lower, Sira's Business Director for Safety Compliance comments: "HazardEx 2004 will be a very exciting show this year for Sira and its customers.

We look forward to launching and delivering this range of training courses as we know how valuable it will be to customers involved in hazardous area to have such a wide ranging selection of courses to choose from.

Mike Shearman, General Manager of Sira's Hazardous Area Centre and Chairman of European Group of Notified Bodies (EXNBG) will be presenting a paper on "Integrating ATEX and IEC Ex" at the HazardEx Event at 1455GMT on 19th February in the main conference.

The paper compares the two schemes and highlights some of the major benefits and disadvantages of each for users.
