Sira Innovation offers a specialist "Technology Roadmapping" service to companies in the sensor, measurement and instrumentation markets, enabling them to make better technology investment and development decisions.
The service helps organisations identify the drivers influencing their business, and then find ways to evaluate and maximise the technology solutions that satisfy this need.
Sira's expert service is based on the knowledge and experience gained from a network of Faraday Partnerships in the sensors, measurement and data analysis arenas.
Sira's "Roadmapping" team provides a needs analysis session culminating in a technology roadmap that is tailored to an individual company's business and technology requirements.
The roadmap is a tool that enables the company to plot its route to a successful future, often by exploiting technology already available in the company.
The roadmap identifies the direction for business success, enabling the company to make informed decisions on technology development and investment.
The team also offers advice and aids the client in establishing a collaborative technology planning process.
The service is of particular benefit to SMEs as Dr Andrew Crookell, Managing Director of Sira Innovation explains: "Some firms view technology roadmapping only as a tool to be applied in larger companies or whole sectors, when in fact it is enormously valuable within individual companies of all sizes".
