Sira develops online Ex database

Sira has launched an online supplier database enabling users, specifiers and buyers of Ex equipment to search for hazardous area equipment suppliers and Ex products from Ex-certified companies.
The Sira-Search online Ex database contains details of ATEX and IECEx certificate holders, which can be searched by product type or keyword.
It provides users of Ex equipment with a database of contacts through which they can find information on product ranges to find the right Ex equipment for their needs.
The system is not limited to certificates issued by Sira, it will also contain entries submitted by manufacturers of products certified by other certification bodies.
Users are able to access product information and view details of that company's certified product range, with registered companies benefiting from promotion of products via the tens of thousands of hits Sira receives on its website every month.
