The cost effective and compact SL120 series of portable data loggers is designed to meet a wide range of temperature monitoring and recording applications.
The cost effective and compact SL120 series of portable data loggers is designed to meet a wide range of temperature monitoring and recording applications, especially those involving the transport and storage of temperature sensitive goods such as food, pharmaceuticals and medical products.
The logger is also ideal for discretely monitoring temperatures in chillers, freezers, laboratories and computer buildings.
In addition, Signatrol believes that the SL120 will prove to be a useful tool in recording experimental data for use in school and college science programmes, and special packages are available for educational establishments.
The SL120 has a measuring range from -20 to +50C and up to 16,000 readings can be stored in the logger.
Logging intervals can be set from 30s to 24h, and the internal battery provides in excess of 3 years' life.
Configuration and data retrieval is carried out via a PC using the powerful TempIT-Lite software package, which can be downloaded free of charge from the Signatrol website.
For greater functionality, the SL120 can be used with the cost effective Standard TempIT package.
Both versions provide powerful yet easy to use graphing capabilities as well as a platform to set up and issue the logger.
Data are saved in an encrypted form but can be exported in spreadsheet format and a maximum of 450 characters of manifest information can be programmed within the logger for easy identification and data retrieval.
High and low alarms can be set together with a programmable time period, which must be exceeded before the excursion is registered as an alarm.
Alarm conditions are clearly displayed on the chart and, with the model SL121, any alarm condition is annunciated by a flashing built-in LED and audio bleeper.
The logger is housed in a robust ABS case and the integral mounting hole can be used to secure the logger in a specific application.
Signatrol also provide low cost once-only-use security ties with unique serial numbers for added monitoring integrity.
