The counter cache protection system manufactured by retail security specialist Volumatic is now available fitted with the Octagon reprogrammable locking system developed by Camlock Systems Widely used by leading retailers, the Volumatic system offers tamperproof storage for bank notes at the point of sale

Money is stored out of reach and sight thereby making the till a less attractive target for both thieves and staff.

The need for frequent cash collections is also reduced.

Camlock Systems '8 locks in 1' Octagon helps maintain the integrity of the counter cache system by virtually eliminating the possibility of unauthorised key duplication.

Camlock Systems sales director Stephen Farnsworth said: "We are pleased that Volumatic, latest addition to a rapidly growing number of Octagon users, have chosen to make the lock available on their counter cache units".

Awarded Millennium Product status by the Design Council, the Octagon is a radial pin tumbler camlock with a unique octagonal key section.

In addition to being reprogrammable, it is available in keyed alike and keyed to differ configurations and can be suited to customers specific requirements.
