Camlock Systems launches 12-change Camatic lock for use in the manufacturing industry; it reduces the risk of loss through unauthorised duplicate keys being used to open locks.

Camlock Systems has launched a 12-change Camatic lock for use in the manufacturing industry; it reduces the risk of loss through unauthorised duplicate keys being used to open locks.

The lock provides pick resistance and combines several Camlock technologies into one product including a 12 pin RPT mechanism, a combination change system and the Octagon design.

Its reprogrammable mechanism eliminates the need to replace locks when key security is breached due to the loss or theft of keys.

Where frequent or routine combination changes are required, the increased number of combinations available in the 12-change version provides for a longer system life over eight-change locks.

Each suite of Octagon Camatic locks and keys is built to a unique combination and allocated exclusively to one user.

This user alone may purchase further quantities of locks or keys as part of the suite, and only by a written order.

Additionally, this key combination may be registered with Camlock by the customer providing signatures of personnel authorised to order extra keys.

The Octagon patent ensures that only Camlock Systems may legally produce Octagon locks and keys.

The lock is of all-brass construction and can be suited together with other 12 pin products, such as different lock types supplied with the same combination.

Suitable for use in various manufacturing applications, the lock comes in a choice of three body lengths - 18, 25 and 30mm.
