Siemens Automation and Drives recently launched its own Safety Integrated initiative, which includes everything from failsafe PLCs and I/O modules to emergency stop buttons and light curtains.
The units have a fully shrouded central busbar system and gland plates, top and bottom, that are fully removable to give ready access for installation.
With fuse holders of the same size rated at 16A, 32A and 63A, the fuse boards can be supplied with either 63A or 125A switch disconnectors, or with a 200A direct connection.
The internal pan-assembly is easily detached to allow users to rotate the housing 180§ to accommodate both left and right handed door opening.
All boards comply with BS EN60947-1 1992 and fuse links are manufactured to BS88: Part 6: 1988.
Three sizes of board are available, each with a 420mm standard width and 150mm common depth.
Units vary in height between 640, 800 and 1000mm depending on the maximum number of ways required.
