Siemens Automation and Drives has extended its range of Logo!Power power supply modules to include a 4A device.

Siemens Automation and Drives has extended its range of Logo!Power power supply modules to include a 4A device The 4A device is the latest addition to a range which already 1.3 and 2.5A DC versions

Each Logo!Power module has a 24V output voltage, and can be used universally in industry and residential construction, when connected to AC voltage networks of between 85 and 264V.

The new device has the same design and functionality as the other members of the Logo!Power family.

It can be snapped onto a standard DIN rail and has a flat step profile with an installation depth of 55mm and a width of 90mm.

This also enables it to be built into small distribution boards.

To achieve a higher output, these power supply units can be connected in parallel.

The "constant current" function supplies the maximum output current briefly in the event of an overload.

This is particularly important when starting powerful consumers, such as those of capacitive loads and motors.

The user can easily adjust the output voltage to between 22.2 and 26.4V by means of a potentiometer.

The Logo!Power unit is robustly designed, satisfies the high requirements with regard to electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and can be operated in a temperature range from -20 to +55C.

It has extensive certification, such as CE, UL/cUL, FM and Marine Engineering GL.
