Siemens Automation and Drives has now completed the acquisition of the assets of RVSI Acuity CiMatrix, a division of Robotic Visions Systems headquartered in Nashua, New Hampshire.
Siemens Automation and Drives has now completed the acquisition of the assets of RVSI Acuity CiMatrix, a division of Robotic Visions Systems (RVSI) headquartered in Nashua, New Hampshire RVSI Acuity CiMatrix, a leader in machine vision for factory automation, employs approximately 100 people and offers a wide product range of data matrix code readers, image processing products, illumination components and services
This acquisition strengthens Siemens' position in the factory automation sensors market and in particular Siemens A and D will become a leading player in the machine vision market segment.
The combined portfolio of Siemens and RVSI Acuity CiMatrix represents an unique and complementary offering in the marketplace.
