While the connection between motor and inverter supply is usually straightforward, there are still a number of issues which need to be carefully considered, as this article explains
In response to industry feedback, Siemens is taking its mobile industrial controls exhibition to companies across the South of England.
Companies based in the South of England can request a visit from the low voltage control and switching technology exhibition vehicle at a pre-arranged time between Monday 23rd January and Friday 3rd February 2006.
Contained with a high-tech "demo vehicle", the mobile exhibition is kitted out with the latest advances in Industrial Controls and Power Distribution technology from Siemens.
The exhibition will give visitors the chance to experience Siemens' wide range of low voltage control and switching technology at first hand.
Experts will also available to demonstrate how the Siemens equipment is both easy to integrate into existing system - and simple to operate and maintain once installed.
Paul Easton at Siemens Automation and Drives commented: "It is almost impossible for engineers to take time out to visit industry events".
"We've turned this problem into an opportunity - and by taking our products and solutions to 'the people', we're able to ensure that both existing and potential users are fully aware of the technology that is currently available and the difference it can make to their systems and processes".
