Powerful processor takes control
Panel PC provides plenty of computing power for industrial applications.
Based on a powerful 1.86GHz Intel Mobile processor, the new Simatic Panel PC 577B from Siemens Automation and Drives provides plenty of computing power for industrial applications The panel, which is only 140mm deep, has a 512Mbyte main memory, and this can be increased up to 4Gbyte
The diverse basic features of the Simatic Panel PC 577B include an 80Gbyte hard disk, two Ethernet interfaces, a DVD burner, one USB interface on the front and four on the back, and two PCI extension slots.
The touchscreen display is available in 12, 15 and 19in sizes.
The panel PC has a high degree of protection of IP65/NEMA4 on the front and is designed for temperatures up to 45C.
All versions of the PC 577B panel can be supplied from stock.
