Phil Walters, Managing Director of Sight Systems, in association with Royal Enfield Motorcycles, has accepted The Enduro India 2003 Challenge.
Phil Walters, Managing Director of Sight Systems, in association with Royal Enfield Motorcycles, has accepted The Enduro India 2003 Challenge.
In February 2003 he and more than 125 other individuals from all walks of life are participating in a unique televised event and will ride Royal Enfield Bullet 350cc motorcycles 2500km across southern India in a bid to raise GBP 500,000 for charity.
On this formidable tour, he will travel long distances across mountains, desert plains, protected wildlife reserves, ancient forests and through hectic townships.
The tour promises to be a life changing experience for both the riders and the beneficiaries of the charity's which include The Rainbow Children's charity, The Pain and Palliative Care Society India, and the WWF Tiger Emergency Fund.
Any additional funds will be passed to local charities in the Worthing area and to National Charities such as Great Ormond Street Children's hospital, British Heart Foundation etc.
To enable him to take part in this event Walters has to raise a minimum of GBP 3000.
He would welcome sponsorship in the form of donations to these charities.
