Sika can offer a broader range of adhesives technology following the integration of the polyurethane adhesive and systems business of Casco Products.

Sika can offer a broader range of adhesives technology following the integration of the polyurethane adhesive and systems business of Casco Products Casco, based in Denmark, was formerly an Akzo-Nobel company before being bought by Sika in 2004

Former Casco customers in the UK have been brought into Sika's local sales, service and support network, led by recently-appointed Business Development Manager, Kelvin Farrell.

Farrell brings to his role years of experience and customer knowledge of the sandwich panel technologies across the transportation, domestic door, building panel and wind energy markets.

Tony Buchan, Sika's General Manager, said the firm was now capable of offering an "unrivalled range of adhesives technologies" to the market, encompassing bonding, sealing and structural bonding applications.

Alongside its adhesive technologies, the former Casco business also incorporated a fully-integrated bulk dispensing machine manufacturing, sales and service business.

Sika Denmark has taken over the former Casco manufacturing arm in Fredensborg using the same raw materials, quality standards and production facilities.

Sika Denmark has moved sales and marketing of all Sika products to the Fredensborg facility.
