Intrinsically safe portable pressure calibrator

A GE Sensing product story

Designed for use in hazardous environments, the handheld PC6 can simultaneously display pressure versus either voltage, current, percentage of pressure, temperature or pressure switch status

SI Pressure Instruments is now manufacturing a new intrinsically safe portable pressure calibrator.

Fitted with rechargeable batteries as standard, the PC6-IS is designed to accurately test and calibrate pressure measuring products such as transducers, transmitters, switches, relief valves, gauges etc.

The hand held PC6 can simultaneously display pressure versus either voltage, current, percentage of pressure, temperature or pressure switch status.

Ranges are available to 1000 bar/15000 psi with a cleverly engineered temperature compensation system enabling 0.025% accuracy.

Options include complete hand held test kits and Windows based software for remote control and certificate production.

Although designed for use in hazardous environments such as those in the Offshore and Petrochemical industries, it has applications in the Aerospace, Engineering, Process, Control and Manufacturing industries.
