Sartorius has launched a hygienically designed load cell that is completely compliant with the hygiene regulations of the food and beverage industry.

The PR6202's design process was carried out according to GMP guidelines to ensure compliance with regulations in the pharmaceutical and bioprocessing industries, and to make qualification and validation of systems easier and more straightforward.

Even if automated weighing and batching systems are usually not in direct contact with the product, the immediate surroundings of the production vessels, tanks and mixer must still be kept in hygienic condition at all times to rule out the build-up of dirt and grime and thus to reduce the potential risk of contamination.

The smooth shape of the PR6202 ensures there is nowhere for dirt to hide.
