The ACC-450 DXA weighs some 1.25t and is built on a heavily ribbed Meehanite casting.
Rigidity is high to accommodate heavy roughing and precise finishing cycles with a twin-vee saddle and table construction.
Magnetic chuck size is 450 x 150mm with longitudinal travel of 530mm.
Crosstravel is 175mm and the air gap between the 205 x 25 x 31.75mm wheel and table is 310mm.
The Wheel spindle has a 1.5kW direct drive giving 2.850rev/min.
Automatic downfeed is between 0.0001 and 0.03mm with a crossfeed per revolution of 5mm.
Continuous crossfeed rate is specified as between 0.16 to 0.4m/min and intermittent crossfeed between 0 and 1.5mm.
Options include, PG Opti-Dress or overhead straight dresser.
These are available in either manual or hydraulic formats.
