Productivity in the North
Eight of the UK's leading machine tool, tooling, measurement, CADCAM and injection mould equipment suppliers are staging an open-house exhibition in Rochdale from 18th to 20th June 2002.
Targeting the mould and die, injection moulding and subcontract machining sectors in the north of England, eight of the UK's leading machine tool, tooling, measurement, CADCAM and injection mould equipment suppliers are staging an open-house exhibition at the Hirschmann UK premises in Rochdale between 18th and 20th June 2002 The "Productivity in the North" high-tech syndicate involves 600 Group with its new range of Richmond machining centres and 600 Centre with its Fanuc vertical machining centres, Fanuc wire EDM and Okamoto surface grinding machines

Complementing the various machines are offline CNC programming from Tech CADCAM, high accuracy rotary tables and tool holding from Nikken, workholding and palletising from the host company Hirschmann UK and machining demonstrations involving a selection of some of the 18,000 products from Seco Tools cutting tool range.
In order to demonstrate specific applications of interest to the aerospace, automotive, telecomms, medical and general engineering sectors, the exhibitors will stage working examples involving their equipment and tooling as well as static exhibits.
Many of the products being demonstrated were launched at the recent MACH 2002 in Birmingham and include the first showings in the UK of the latest BOY, 55t injection moulding machine, Fanuc Alpha OiB wire EDM, and Fanuc T14iC Robodrill and Richmond machining centres.
