Autodesk recognises academic expertise
The Synergis Technologies Engineering Design Solutions Division has been certified as an Autodesk Premier Solutions Provider (PSP) A+ Academic Specialist for Autodesk education solutions.
The Synergis Engineering Design Solutions has been certified as an Autodesk Premier Solutions Provider (PSP) A+ Academic Specialist for Autodesk education solutions Becoming Autodesk's first academic value-added reseller (VAR) to achieve A+ PSP status, this coveted recognition indicates that Synergis Engineering Design Solutions is considered the premier provider of services and customer support within the educational communities in Pennsylvania and New Jersey
The biggest challenge for educators today is the need to constantly upgrade skill sets and revise curriculum to keep abreast of the new technologies as they become available and offer students updated and expanded courses in those technologies.
"We use the Synergis teacher training and support team contacts to make our school's technology classes extremely effective".
"Keeping the latest versions of software on our computers and getting our faculty up to speed on them is very important in our role as a vocational school district".
"The Synergis curriculum supplements and resources have also played a major role in making our technology programs real world relative and exciting for our students", stated Trish Drevelus, Curriculum Coordinator for Technology Integration and Career Planning, Union County Magnet High School in Scotch Plains, New Jersey.
"Autodesk is proud to bestow the PSP A+ status on Synergis".
"The designation means Synergis is one of the 'best of the best'", said Steve Blum, Vice President, America's Sales at Autodesk.
"They earned this distinction by showing that they not only understand the intricate requirements of educators, but they can provide the tools and solutions institutions need to successfully prepare their students to enter the workforce".
In an effort to improve the level of services and support provided to the educational community, Autodesk raised the bar for its VARs this year when it challenged them to meet the A+ Academic Specialist requirements mandating higher levels of solutions expertise, training and support.
The Synergis Engineering Design Solutions team, dedicated to providing the highest quality products and services that surpass customer expectations, has demonstrated proven results and meets these new stringent performance requirements set by Autodesk.
"The future of private industry in the US and Canada rests in the fields of design and engineering".
"With outsourcing on the rise and tougher international competition the norm, it is imperative that our schools turn out students that can be productive immediately", states industry watchdog Robert Green.
As a commitment to its loyal customer base and to communicate essential industry and solutions information to educators, Synergis will host its first annual Technology Expo on 9th June 2005 in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania.
Delegates to this exclusive event can learn what they need to know about preparing students for today's marketplace and producing the first truly global generation of designers and engineers.
With its A+ Academic Specialist recognition, Synergis has proven its ability to offer an exceptional solutions and services package to educators which includes certified in-house programmers, helpdesk support, expert application engineers, curriculum and educational instructors, and a team of knowledgeable representatives that can work with customers to be sure they are getting the programs and support they require.
Additionally, Synergis has joined an elite group of VARs that holds two PSP designations.
Earlier this month, Autodesk awarded Synergis' Engineering Design Solutions Division, headquartered in Quakertown, Pennsylvania, the Autodesk Premier Solutions Provider status for manufacturing solutions.
