The GH gear reducer is the newest addition to the popular line of rotary vector (RV) drives available in the UK from Servotechnic.
The GH gear reducer is the newest addition to the popular line of rotary vector (RV) drives available in the UK from Servotechnic and is being stocked at the manufacturing facility in Massachusetts for quick delivery.
The GH series of products feature a solid structure to ensure minimum downtime and sizeable output bearings to handle high overhung loads.
They are able to achieve higher output speeds than standard RVs because of their low ratios (11:1-30:1).
GH drives offer extremely high torsional rigidity and overload torque capacity - at 500% rated torque.
The rated torque range is from 69 to 392Nm with a peak torque of 2746Nm.
Backlash in the GH series is limited to a maximum of 6arc-min.
GH gear reducers are able to handle impact loading up to five times their rated torque and can readily handle reversing or stop and go loading conditions.
Additional benefits include: low vibration, high output torque, high durability and high positional accuracy.
The manufacturer, Harmonic Drive Technologies of Peabody, Massachusetts, is a leading supplier of flex drive gearheads, component gear sets and complete flex drive actuators for several industries, including: semiconductor, factory automation, robotics, medical and aerospace.
