Gear set simplifies phasing of rotating
elements
The Nabtesco Precision HDB gear set allows easy and direct phasing of rotating elements and is ideally suited for web presses and other machines requiring constant monitoring and adjustment in motion.
The Nabtesco Precision HDB gear set available from Servotechnic allows easy and direct phasing of rotating elements and is ideally suited for web presses and other machines requiring constant monitoring and adjustment while in motion Essentially two HDF pancake gear sets mounted back to back with dynamic splines connected, the HDB provides a 1:1 through ratio from a primary drive to secondary elements of a machine with optional speed or position adjustment

Compact outline for zero-backlash gearheads
Nabtesco Precision has released its RGH series of compact gearheads through its newly appointed exclusive UK representative Servotechnic.
Power is applied to the first of three ring gears called circular splines.
Torque is transmitted from the first circular spline to the thrid circular spline through two gear ratios.
The first gear ratio is a slight speed increase whilst the second is a slight speed reduction.
The overall effect is a 1:1 ratio with an efficiency of approximately 99%.
With a small trim motor attached to the hub of one of the component sets and the other hub held still a high ratio advance or retard between input and output speed can easily be achieved.
