The size 34 linear stepper actuator from Haydon Switch, is now available from Servotechnic in captive, noncaptive and external linear options.

The size 34 linear stepper actuator from Haydon Switch, is now available from Servotechnic in captive, noncaptive and external linear options.

The captive version features an integrated antirotation device to convert the rotary motion of the motor into precise linear movement.

The noncaptive features a travelling screw and the external linear offers a travelling nut.

The three variants offer designers an easy to integrate product boasting high thrust and precision.

The size 34 units incorporate the same high performance and durable patent pending designs as featured in other Haydon Switch hybrid motors.

The NEMA 34 (87000 series) is currently the most powerful motor delivering forces up to 2.22kN.

A wide variety of linear step resolutions are available - from 0.0127 to 0.127mm per step.

Linear speeds exceed 76mm/s.

Optional features such as proximity sensors, encoders and limit switches are also available on this model.

Applications include pick and place, insertion and assembly, robotics, semiconductor and general automation.
