The RGH robotic gearhead available from Servotechnic offers a compact zero backlash gear solution complete with integrated output bearings, seals and output flange.
The unit is currently available in two sizes, 20 and 25, with output torques from 56 to 176Nm, depending on size and ratio.
The gear is manufactured by Harmonic Drive Technologies in the USA and can be supplied by Servotechnic with suitable adapter plate to suit the motor of choice.
This compact gear is the first choice for a global manufacturer of robots and comes with a pedigree of features: excellent positional accuracy and repeatability; angular contact output bearing for high axial, radial and moment loads; compact design; quick and simple assembly; long life; and high reliability.
Applications for the RGH gear include robotics, semiconductor machines, pick and place, pan and tilt axes for cameras and antennas and laboratory automation.
