Servotechnic has been appointed as UK sales agent for Motion Control Systems (MCS) The MCS line of brushless DC motors meets a wide variety of motion control applications with the widest selection available for unequalled acceleration, reliability and power output capability

Using MCS's proprietary magnetic circuits and high-energy magnets, the company's engineers have created a motor line that combines high power density with smooth, highly reliable performance.

Exceptional efficiency can be achieved to minimise heating and maximise continuous power rating.

A wide range of frame sizes is available and the standard range of motors runs from 2in diameter (B05) to 39in diameter (B99).

By varying the lengths of the laminations and magnetic circuits, a single frame size can handle a wide range of applications.

All motors are available frameless or custom housed, and special designs outside this range are possible.

When complemented with a MCS linear or PWM amplifier, excellent servo performance is achieved at torques of 70mNm to over 27kNm, and speeds as high as 100,000rev/min.

MCS systems offer precise speed control up to 1ppm and torque ripple below 1%.

Applications assistance is available for motor sizing and integration into machines.

A complementary range of linear and PWM amplifiers is also available.

Applications include machine tools, robotics, semiconductor machines, air bearing spindles and laboratory automation.
